# WorkToDo > WorkToDo is a goal-first personal CRM built for founders, with AI voice capture built in. Instead of treating contacts as a flat rolodex or forcing your work into a sales pipeline, every contact and interaction belongs to a *goal* (raise a round, hire a team, land design partners, run a sales pipeline) with a deadline. Calendar events auto-log as interactions, the AI capture widget turns voice notes into structured updates in seconds, a daily digest surfaces what's overdue and stale, and a Today panel shows your queue across every active goal in one screen. WorkToDo is opinionated about one thing: goals are the spine. When the goal closes (round wired, hire accepted, design partner converted), you have history. When it opens, you have a queue. That's it. AI capture is core, not a side feature: tap the floating widget, talk for ten seconds, and the AI extracts the contact, the action, the deadline, and attaches it to the right goal. No typing. The current product is for individual founders. Engineering leaders and solopreneurs are next on the roadmap, same product with different templates. ## Product - [For Founders](https://www.worktodo.today/founders): Pitch and walkthrough for the founder use case (fundraising, hiring, design partners). - [Pricing](https://www.worktodo.today/pricing): Free for everyone during early access. A one-time Day 0 Founders lifetime deal ($50, capped at the first 50 people) opens next, before any monthly tier launches. - [About](https://www.worktodo.today/about): Why a goal-first CRM exists. The founder workflow doesn't fit a sales pipeline or a flat contact rolodex. ## Comparisons - [vs Folk](https://www.worktodo.today/vs/folk): Folk is a beautiful general-purpose CRM. WorkToDo is goal-first, built for fundraising, hiring, and design-partner pipelines specifically. - [vs Notion](https://www.worktodo.today/vs/notion): Notion is infinitely flexible. That's its weakness for a CRM. WorkToDo gives you 80% of a Notion CRM without the maintenance tax. - [vs Dex](https://www.worktodo.today/vs/dex): Dex is a stay-in-touch tool. WorkToDo is the same idea anchored to a goal with a deadline. - [vs Airtable](https://www.worktodo.today/vs/airtable): Airtable is a powerful database. WorkToDo is a CRM out of the box, no schemas to design, no views to maintain. ## Articles - [Best CRM for Startup Founders](https://www.worktodo.today/articles/best-crm-for-startup-founders): Why generic CRMs fail founders and what a goal-first CRM looks like in practice. ## How it works 1. Create a goal with a deadline (e.g. "Raise $2M seed by end of Q2"). 2. Add contacts to that goal (investors, candidates, customers) and they get a stage (e.g. First call, Diligence, Passed). 3. Connect Google Calendar or Outlook. Meetings with those contacts auto-log as interactions. 4. Capture between meetings by voice: tap the floating widget, talk, and the AI extracts the contact, the action, the deadline, and logs it on the right goal. 5. Each morning, the daily digest emails you what's overdue, due today, and going stale across every goal. 6. Open the Today panel in the app to work the queue. The AI assistant proposes the next action for each contact. 7. Mark the goal complete when it's done. History stays; the queue clears. ## Pricing summary (Phase 1, early access) - **Free during early access**: every feature, free for everyone. Current limits are 3 active goals and up to 100 contacts; existing users will be grandfathered into these limits when a paid plan launches later. - **Day 0 Founders ($50 lifetime, first 50 only, opening soon)**: a one-time deal for early believers.
